INTRODUCTION
The meeting was held at Montebello in Italy which was represented by all delegates of the congregation of sons of divine providence and it also included lay people working in Education institutions.

PRESENTATION (CHARISM OF DON ORIONE ELEMENTS & VALUES)

Don Flavio Peloso gave a lot of information on Charisma. CHARISM is a gift from God which is inside and needs to be expressed in a prophetic way which is visible and people having it are able to lead others. Its also an obligation to give account to God and to others. Whoever receives it will act because that is the way they are and cannot do otherwise, it’s like a tree growing and bearing fruits because that’s the way it is and cannot do otherwise. They know they must preserve it and nurture that something that dwells in them because it’s the best and truest part of them.
A CHARISMATIC PERSON is Happy and Orderly, Responsible, Obedient, Happy with laws and happy with punishment/control and safety measures. For one to be responsible he must delegate the responsibilities through either Normal Delegation or Charismatic Delegation.

Professor P. Paolo Asolan (UNDERSTANDING CHARISM IN NEW EVANGELIZATION)
Why new Evangelization???
God changes the world through charity. New evangelization is new charity whereby the old is to be updated and invention of new ones.
Evangelization without charity is nothing. Being a gift from the Holy Spirit one must understand it and know the version. There is need to believe in justice (which is concrete) than words.
I came to bring fire and I wish its burning,
He who comes near Christ comes to the fire and it must
Illuminate to others in actions rather than words.

Charity is not a sentimental/physical feeling but it’s the involvement of mind, heart, and physical aspects. Charism came into the world for the good of all; even those who cannot see the charisma or disregard it but it come mainly for the poor. If there was no charism, the poor, disabled, elderly could not be seen, loved, cared for, Valued.

Professor Marco Guzzi (CHALLENGES OF CHARISM)
-          Efficiency – going for the poor other than waiting for them.
-          Relationship between Religious and lay people (the boss figure, fear of power, always to give instructions.)
-          Few religious people in big institutions
-          Lack of availability in the institutions in terms of moving around or giving masses… presence in the institutions
-          Lack of real concern like, spending time with them.
